Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You Season 1 Blu-ray Box Set

Based on Jinushi’s multi-award-winning manga series, the story follows Sasaki, an overworked, exhausted middle-aged salaryman whose only comfort at the end of a brutal corporate day is the bright smile of Yamada, a cheerful cashier at his favorite neighborhood supermarket. One stressful night, failing to find Yamada at her register, Sasaki wanders to the quiet alleyway behind the shop for a cigarette. There, he meets Tayama—a cool, edgy young woman with piercings and a leather jacket who invites him to share a smoke. What the naive Sasaki doesn’t realize is that Tayama is actually Yamada in her off-duty, punk-style disguise! As their late-night alleyway chats grow deeper, a beautiful, unique bond forms between two lonely souls navigating the cold city.
