Winter Season 1 Blu-ray Box Set (2026 TV Series)

Based on the long-running French television phenomenon Balthazar, this gritty British reimagining stars Richard Armitage as Dr. Ethan Winter, a charming, eccentric, and utterly brilliant forensic pathologist. Operating in Bristol, Winter partners with the sharp and driven DI Lauren Bell (Annabel Scholey) to solve the city’s most complex and macabre murder cases. While his unusual methods and deductive genius aid the homicide squad in tracking down calculating killers, Ethan hides a torturous secret of his own—he is constantly haunted by the unsolved murder of his late fiancé, Simone Edwards. From a frozen body found at a local site to a shocking breakthrough in the sprawling Triangle case, this season delivers a masterclass in modern police procedurals.
