Finney Shaw, a shy and intelligent boy, is abducted by the masked serial killer known as The Grabber. Locked in a soundproof basement with no way to escape, Finney finds a disconnected black phone on the wall, which mysteriously begins ringing. The phone connects him to the voices of the Grabber’s previous victims, who offer him cryptic advice on how to survive. As Finney follows the clues, he learns of his captor’s twisted methods and his own untapped resilience. The clock is ticking as Finney must use every ounce of his wit and courage to outsmart the deadly predator before it’s too late.
