Golden Axe Season 1 Blu-ray Box Set (2026 TV Series)

Co-created by Mike McMahan (Star Trek: Lower Decks) and Joe Chandler (American Dad!), this hilarious and blood-soaked adaptation follows a highly dysfunctional trio of warriors—Ax Battler (Liam McIntyre), Tyris Flare (Lisa Gilroy), and Gilius Thunderhead (Matthew Rhys)—as they once again try to save the beautiful land of Yuria from the tyrannical, evil giant Death Adder. Along their dangerous but ridiculous quest, they are joined by Hampton (Danny Pudi), a naive, inexperienced young pants-wearer who dreams of being a hero. Packed with brilliant meta-references to 16-bit video game mechanics, over-the-top sword-and-sorcery violence, and sharp, witty dialogue, this series delivers a perfect blend of high-octane fantasy and modern workplace-style comedy.
This premium Golden Axe 2BD physical media release features reference-quality high-definition video transfers that beautifully showcase the gorgeous, vibrant animation handled by Titmouse, paired with an incredibly rich surround sound mix that brings every spell cast and sword swing right into your living room.
