The voice of an unnamed actress recurs throughout, speaking like someone leaving breadcrumbs for a future listener. Am¨¦lie becomes entranced, convinced the recordings document an abandoned film that was never meant to vanish. Her search leads her into the forgotten corners of Paris: projection rooms sealed for decades, rehearsal spaces reclaimed by dust, and riverside nooks once alive with rebellious filmmakers. Each rediscovered clue reveals tensions between art and censorship, passion and rivalry, truth and reinvention. As Am¨¦lie gets closer to the mystery, she becomes aware of someone else retracing the same footsteps¡ªsomeone determined to erase the unfinished film¡¯s remnants forever.
